Welcome to Lilo & Meg! As a devoted mom of two amazing girls, I have always had a passion for creating handmade products. Our journey began through my dedication to live a more holistic lifestyle after receiving a diagnosis of a non-cancerous brain tumor and the urgent surgery that ensued. Of course I started thinking, "What caused this? What could I have done differently?" This led me to consider the chemicals commonly found in our hair care. Whether it's coloring, curling, or straightening, trendy styles involve harmful ingredients. This awareness sparked my passion for providing safer, more natural alternatives for women everywhere. So a bit about myself, I am a wife and mother to an amazing family. I am a coffee loving, horse crazy, the ocean is my happy place "holistic, organic groovy" as one of my friends once titled me. I love homesteading and am currently on an herbal apothecary trend. In planning my garden this year, I'm trying to incorporate as many of the amazing options for future oil infusions and dried flowers and herbs. Calendula, Lavender, Rosemary and the list goes on. Where can I plant these? Will the deer eat them? How do I know when to plant?...
